Malace|HR Packs Food for The Hungry!

In September of 2011, a team of volunteers from the Malace|HR Corporate Headquarters spent a day working at the Macomb County Food Warehouse. The Warehouse takes in a regular stream of food donations from restaurants, grocery chains, charitable collectors and private individuals and distributes them (free of charge) to over 50 entities and organizations that provide meals to those in need. Because the warehouse is completely dependent on funding from the County and State, they have a limited budget for payroll and full-time employed staff and count on volunteers to remain in operation. The Malace Team sorted and packaged for shipment, several tons of donated goods, and received kudos from the Facility Supervisor for their efforts.
